DESERT ESSENCE is the fruition of an informal Artist's Residency in Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. A selection of 7 paintings of flowers, jackrabbits and desert ram's horns, in pigments gathered in the desert, with brushes made from local animal fur; it is Anza-Borrego painted with Anza-Borrego. It will coincide with the BAI's annual Flora & Fauna Show.
